Assess Proposed New Street Address Allocations

Applicant Contacts are able to submit proposed street addresses to Responsible Authorities provided the Responsible Authority has chosen to accept the proposed street addressing.

Where it has been submitted by the Applicant Contact, the Responsible Authority will be required to assess the proposed street addressing.

Steps

You will need to complete the following to assess proposed new street addresses:

  1. Select the mandatory action "Assess Proposed New Street Address Allocations".
  2. To view what the applicant has proposed, click on the Proposed New Street Addresses link. This will open as a .PDF document.
  3. You can either accept or reject the proposed street addressing. Select the required radio button. Add any optional comments to the Applicant Contact in the text box.
  4. Click 'ok' to return to the Details Screen.
  5. To complete the process, the "Assess Proposed New Street Address Allocations" must be authenticated using your SPEAR password.

Note: If you choose "accept" then you will be able to modify (or confirm) the addresses and submit the addressing information to NES as an M1. The option to modify (confirm) will appear as a mandatory action only if the initial proposal by the applicant is "accepted" and authenticated.

"Modify/Confirm New Street Address Allocations" will appear as a mandatory action.
